I did not dare to take a picture of the tea boy actually serving the tea, since I have to sign every morning that I'm not carrying a camera on the premises; and since I have been almost arrested twice here in India for taking photos at 'inappropriate' places. Thus here only a picture of the served tea in this lovely cup with alpine flower motives.
Almost arrested for taking photos? Wow. That is crazy. You are going to have to share those experiences with us one day.
ReplyDelete@Dr Mandragora... One time it was in the Mysore Palace, where a tour-guide finked on me. The second time was a lovely 'park' which turned out to be the entrance of an arms manufacturer. Both time I could escape arrest thanks to Indian colleagues who argued about half an hour with the guards.
ReplyDeleteSo, was the tea as tasty as the tea boy? ;)
ReplyDeleteI see you take some milk in your tea. I rarely drink tea now, but I used to put a splash of milk in it, because I read somewhere that milk "fixes the tannin" which I think means it doesn't stain your teeth so much. It also takes away the astringency.
ReplyDelete@Captastro... well at least as sweet as...
ReplyDelete@naturgesetz... Indians don't just add milk to the tea. They cook the tea in milk, which gives it also a different taste.
Honestly, the colour of the tea isn't that tempting. I bet it tastes way better.
ReplyDeleteHave fun, don't go get yourself arrested. :) If you do, don't forget snap pics of the incident as well lol
Love
Daniel
Interesting perk. ;-)
