I don't know if other cultures reached such refined levels as well, but the Danish have choices of milk, I've never seen before:
On the left, you can see standard milk. Available in various shades of fat. On the right, you can see milk produced by cows, which grassed on a meadow. How inovative is that. They can even charge more for this special kind of milk.

Swiss farmers will scratch their heads and ask themselves Why oh why they haven't thought of it themselves:) This reminds me of a anedocte when travelling to Sweden-met a girl in the train who was swiss but emigrated to Sverige,upon talking about foodie stuff she told me to try FILL MJÖLK which i translated to 'vollmilch' well you can imagine my face when i wanted to surprise my hosts with a homebaked Zopf and had to run out again to buy the real milk ( Fill Mjölk is sour milk)
