Yes, Ray Charles is pushing up the daisies since the 10th of July. The other Nominees in the dead category were:
+ John Peel (represented by «Teenage kicks» by the Undertones)
+ Ol' dirty Bastard (Wu-Tang Clan)
+ Johnny Ramone
+ Rick James
I'd have gone with John Peel. I don't mind admitting having a tear in my eye when I found out about his death. It's a radio one thing I grew up with John Peel. But sad about Ray Charles too.
