Boomus Interruptus

I have no idea why, but this morning I had to think of this article... We're facing 25 years of prosperity, freedom, and a better environment for the whole world. You got a problem with that? (Wired, July 1997)... or as Neils Bohr said Prediction is very difficult, especially about the future.

"25 years from 1997" huh? No one told me that back then.

NZ is now officially in recession - how come my weight and (lack of) waistline don't recede?

Word verifications becoming funnier and funnier. Try "taitins" - almost a word in some sort of language

Comments from American commentary that I get in Canada say that the recycling people do here is linked to sending it off to China to deal with... Did you know this? I had no idea people were so dumb?

So recycling isn't really recycling and it is all tied into every industry we have and a with a recession along.. IT does have something to do with technology...

Imagine that!
