Like Pablov's Dog

I've had many bicycles in my life. They where made of chromium-molybdenum steel, aluminium or titanium. I never fell for carbon bikes (though, my Klein Q-Pro has a carbon fork), until I saw the new SLC01 designed by the magicians of BMC:

My saliva started to flow immediately. The frame is made with Carbon Nanotube Technology (CNT) and weights a mere 960 grams. This bike is the flabbergasting acme of style, passion and precision.

Do you really mean that the frame less than 1 k weights? How can it be possible...well, well that is something to look forward, isn't it?

Gomad - this stuff I love. I know bikes like this are so cool. It's so funny to pick them up because they are so light... But how is it for riding? I haven't even gotten on my bike in 2 years. I need to start, but gotta get to an area I like to ride... Ah Switzerland is so wonderful for that! Not exactly like that here in Vancouver. Too many cars and exhaust everywhere... My last bike is from Switzerland...although its only a lower end mountain bike...

Expat Traveler: When I started with street bikes, I went to my favourite bike dealer (cycle shark). I had already decided for a model when he offered me to test another one - his personal Q-Pro. I planed for a 20 minutes round, but did not stop for 90 minutes. It was the closest experience to flying I ever had. You're right. One hast to ride a bike before choosing it.
