1 bunch fresh mint 1 bunch fresh coriander 6-8 cloves garlic 1" piece of ginger 2 green chillies 1 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp salt 2 tsps lime juice
Cut off roots from both mint and coriander, peel garlic and ginger and remove stalks from green chillies. Wash all these ingredients thoroughly. Grind these and all the remaining ingredients into a smooth paste in a food processor. Chill and serve.
oh thanks ver much,this sounds so right up my street i have copied it out onto paper:)will make that soon,sounds as if this could complement a few other dishes too!

oh yumm! on the risk of sounding like an ignorant,what is the green sauce ? I don't think I have ever had that in an indian resto here.
It looks delicious, I like a lot chicken tikka too.
